Fred C. Klein

I believe in competition, but when everyone else is playing checkers, you have to play chess.

Determined. Savvy. Sage.

After 50 years of practice, Fred is our grey eminence, the firm’s spirit and soul.  He is the person to whom we all turn for strategy, advice, perspective, and counsel.

Fred’s career has focused on traditional labor work.  He has represented every imaginable industry, from airlines to cemeteries.  An organizer, Fred founded trade associations for electrical contractors and steel fabricators who negotiated with their unions as multi-employer bargaining units. In 1997, Fred and Nancy founded Gotham City Networking, Inc. (www.gothamnetworking.com), whose dozens of groups and hundreds of members he steers to this day.

Fred is a consummate negotiator whose easy manner readily creates trust and good will on all sides. He is also a shrewd advocate who always seeks to achieve a tangible win for those he represents.

Fred first and foremost is a coach, for Little League and track, to other runners, and for the scores of people he has mentored and motivated.
